No. File Deep Info exports the cleaned result as a new copy to a location you choose. It does not overwrite the original during the cleanup workflow. You can compare or keep both files.

The app combines MIME information, Magic Numbers, and binary signatures rather than trusting the filename extension. This helps identify mismatched extensions, extensionless files, incorrect names, and the real types of embedded objects.
